Fieldays 2017

We were excited to take a visit to Fieldays this year and were delighted to see a vast amount of New Zealand Made products on show.

Now in its 49th year, Fieldays is the largest farming and agricultural event in the Southern Hemisphere. Over 50 Buy NZ Made licensed members were represented this year, with our iconic Kiwi Trademark having a significant presence at the event. New Zealand Made products were represented across a range of categories including animal products, farming equipment, food, clothing and homeware.

The importance of New Zealand Made was felt strongly throughout; the need to support local business and growth, fostering Kiwi innovation and creativity, and there was also discussion around the need for a greater understanding of what qualifies as New Zealand Made.

This year’s theme at Fieldays was Leading Change – looking at the importance of driving prosperity through innovative thinking in New Zealand’s primary sector. It was great to see so many New Zealand businesses and individuals leading change, through innovative products and ideas – good old Kiwi ingenuity!
